Vocabulary and Grammar Acquisition:

-Ing/ed adjectives. When to to use.
-Statistics and report vocabulary
- Ing to be used with verbs of emotion
-Giving your opinion. How happy are we? Discussion (unit 1 topic vocabulary)
-Revising Present Simple, Present Continuous and Present Perfect: Use, Form and time expressions
-Time expressions: Frequency adverb position.
-Stative verbs.
-Comparatives and Superlatives: new forms
-Past Simple and Past Continuous Revision: Use, Form and time expressions.
-Check Irregular verb Form (Revision)
-Literary genres

2. PRODUCTIVE SKILLS

Speaking skills: -Classroom language: Makins questions, asking for permission, offers and requests, petitions.
-Describing a picture. Technique and appropriateness.
-Describing your High school. Comparing with other High School. Proposing ways to improve your High School.
-Talking about your life: weekend, plans, routines, basic personal information.

Writing skills: -Describing yourself, physically and personally WITH A WIDE NEW VOCABULARY AND EXPRESSIONS
-Writing about a holiday, weekend or event in the past and a plan for the future
-Write an informal letter to a friend telling about your things and asking using appropriate informal language
-Write about a book/film you have read/seen.
-Use linkers and connectors correctly
-Check mistakes in writing, spelling mainly.
Interactive skills: -Talk to your teacher, ask and answer.
-Talk to your partner, discuss about teenage life.
-Discuss about High Schools


2. RECEPTIVE SKILLS:
Reading Skills: -Read about happiness among teenagers across the world.
-Read about data and statistics
-Reading headlines, questions in an exam. Read carefully.
-Skimming and scanning.
-How to read an text: number, underline, dictionary use, infer meaning.
-A Foreigner in Britain: extensive personal reading for pleasure + get cultural information.
-Read about a fim/book review.

Listening Skills: -Listen to your teacher and mates in the classroom
-Listen to your classmates doing presentations or explaining in the class
-Listen to a written article to help you understand the reading comprehension practice.
-Listen to guided readings to search for information


3. LANGUAGE LEARNING STRATEGIES -How to make a good outline: Present Tenses + Past Tenses
-Checking and using electronic resources to improve your English. Use your wiki.
-Correct your exams. Analyse according to elements and see weak and strong points. Work on weaknesses
-Check your mistakes, notice them and don`t do them again.
-Working in groups. Organising work, cooperate and be responsible of your work.
-Writing your E-PEL (European Portfolio of the languages)
-Analysing and assesing your work, your teacher and your classmate´s work.
4. EXAMS, HANDED OUT ACTIVITIES, MARKS BY YOUR TEACHER. (Check you if sent/gave them to me!!) Anything missing? Tell me!

THIS IS WHAT HAS ALREADY BEEN ASSESSED. THE END OF TERM TEST WILL HAVE TO DEAL WITH ANY OF THESE ISSUES, CLASSIFIED IN ALL ABILITIES (Grammar and Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Writing Practice and Listening Skills).
THE ORAL TEST WILL BE CARRIED OUT NEXT WEEK. IT WILL BE BASED ON THE ORAL DESCRIPTION OF A PICTURE OF THE BOOK AND QUESTIONS ABOUT THE READIN BOOK "A foreinger in Britain".

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA ARE ALREADY INCLUDED IN THE WIKI. STUDENTS WHO DID NOT HAND OUT A PIECE OF WORK WITHOUTH JUSTIFICATION WILL BE GIVEN A 0 SCORE
